Charlotte has been passionate about interiors for as long as she can remember.

Her interiors aim to reflect the personality and personal story of the people inhabiting the space. Connected to her Belgian roots in terms of restraint and warm materiality, Charlotte takes the experience of her international life in the interiors she creates. Her projects live at the frontier between art and design. “When I need grounding it is either nature or art. Art moves me in such a deep way. I can’t really explain it”. She carefully assembles collectible design and antiques, working with galleries throughout Europe and the United States as well as with artists directly. A keen sketcher, she also designs and produces pieces to meet site-specific needs, working with local or international craftsmen with whom she creates deep and long-lasting relationships.

Materiality is at the core of her practice, as she enjoys creating stories, tension and surprise by subtly bringing together rich fabrics, leather, a wide array of stones, glass, natural timber and lacquer.

A keen sketcher, she also designs and produces pieces to meet site-specific needs, working with local or international craftsmen with whom she creates deep and long-lasting relationships.
